Non-GMO Project verification builds the natural and non-GMO supply chain, helping to protect an estimated 25 million acres of U.S. farmland from biodiversity loss and increased herbicide use associated with GMOs.
• 6.5 million acres of U.S. farmland produce non-GMO corn.
• 5.1 million acres produce non-GMO soybeans.
• Non-GMO canola, alfalfa and sugar beets take up another 14 million acres combined.
