William Tencza is a food and beverage industry leader from the Garden State of New Jersey. He inherited his passion for the industry from his father’s career at QuickChek Corporation. He is excited for the opportunity to learn and contribute to the Project as a Standards Committee Voting Member. As a Sales District Leader at PepsiCo, he leads a team of sales and utility representatives in selling, execution, and customer service while following the PepsiCo Way. He cultivates and maintains positive relationships with over 950 small format accounts along the Jersey Shore. He wants to utilize his sales experience to educate people through standards development; since everyone has a right to know what is in their food. William holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Food Marketing and Sports Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University. He continues his education at Oregon State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration Postbaccalaureate. He brings his background of nonprofit development from volunteering at Selective Seconds. Selective Seconds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization furniture store operated by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. All proceeds from the sale of donated household items benefit those in need from the local community. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, watching soccer, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with his family.
